My family sometimes refer to me as Lady Muck…probably quite justifiably.
I grew up in Yorkshire, and worked my little working-class socks off to get into Oxford University, to read French. There I learned that apparently I had a short “a” (I pronounced grass as “grass” instead of “graahhhss”), I was no longer anywhere near the top of my class (“claaahhhss”) and that I could make friends for life from many different walks of life.
I followed my heart into a Marketing career, taking me in and out of London and Paris, met the love of my life, and together we took a leap of faith to the Middle East.
Our little Mucks were born in the Middle East and I now spend my time being a mummy, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a driver, a friend, a manager and a writer. Oh…and apparently…a Lady Muck.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
